Why We Built This Site
Missouri gives the public broad access to many government records, but Hickory County records do not all live in one office. The Circuit Clerk handles court case files and copies for the Circuit Court. The Recorder of Deeds handles marriage licenses and recorded marriage documents. The Sheriff handles jail and law-enforcement questions. The County Clerk handles county administration and election-related work. State systems such as Case.net, Missouri DOC Offender Search, Missouri DHSS vital records, and Missouri DOR driver records add more paths. This site brings those paths into one local reference.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Missouri court, Hickory County office, sheriff's office, recorder, clerk, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
